Data engineering and business intelligence for reliable decisions.

PROVADIT translates business rules into data models, integrations and analytical products. We connect the meaning of a figure with its calculation and source data. Our data and business intelligence consulting serves companies in Switzerland and worldwide from Liechtenstein.

Our approach

Start with the business question behind the number.

A report is useful when its definitions and calculations reflect the business. We clarify how quantities, values, dates and exceptions should be interpreted before designing the data foundation. That makes the resulting analysis explainable to business and technical teams.

Our focus areas

Information needs & solution specification

We identify the decisions a data product needs to support and turn them into precise requirements. Business rules, calculation methods, exceptions, source mappings and acceptance criteria give implementation teams a common specification.

Business requirements · Calculation logic · Acceptance criteria

Data architecture, modeling & integration

We design data warehouses and analytical data layers, connect sources and develop transformations. Our project experience includes Oracle Cloud, SAP reporting environments, Databricks and dbt. The architecture follows your existing landscape and operating requirements.

Data models · Data warehouses · Transformations

Data quality & consistent definitions

We make missing data, inconsistent mappings and calculation failures visible. Shared definitions, validation rules and documented responsibilities help teams correct issues at their source and understand the limits of an analysis.

Data validation · Definitions · Traceability

Analytical products & self-service reporting

We develop models, metrics and reports that connect operational and financial perspectives. Clear filters, useful defaults and retained history make the information easier to use. Practical workshops help business users adapt standard reports to their own questions.

Analytical models · Reporting · User enablement

What an engagement can deliver

Deliverables depend on the agreed scope and your starting point. They may include:

  • Agreed business definitions, calculation rules and data specifications
  • Data models, integrations and transformations within the agreed implementation scope
  • Analytical products, validation criteria and practical documentation for users and data teams

How we work together

  1. Understand and agree on the scope

We clarify the business question, requirements and responsibilities with your teams.

  2. Design and develop

We compare options, specify the solution and implement it ourselves or support your implementation teams.

  3. Validate and enable

We support acceptance, rollout, documentation and training within the agreed scope, with clear ownership for continued use.

Questions about working with us

Who implements the data solution?

We can develop data models, transformations and reporting ourselves, or provide the specification and solution engineering for your data teams. We agree on ownership, technical delivery, testing and handover for each engagement.

Do you require a particular platform?

No. We evaluate options against business requirements, existing systems and the capabilities needed to operate them. Our experience with SAP, Oracle Cloud, Databricks and dbt informs the assessment without prescribing a vendor.

Experience behind the advice

PROVADIT translates business logic into usable data products: an inventory model and its cockpit data interface in one engagement; an inventory and write-off data layer built with Databricks and dbt in another. Experience with an Oracle Cloud research data warehouse adds a different application context. An automatically updated inventory report for a corporate reinsurer connects country and company values with the latest insurance-relevant sales prices, reducing manual alignment.
