Plan your supply chain. Understand and steer inventory.

PROVADIT connects integrated planning, inventory optimization and logistics capacity with business decisions. We model inventory drivers, compare scenarios and connect quantities with financial values. From Liechtenstein, we work with companies in Switzerland and worldwide.

Our approach

Make planning assumptions and their consequences visible.

Inventory targets, supply plans and financial expectations need a shared basis. We work with supply chain, finance and IT to clarify definitions, test assumptions and translate them into models and planning tools. The aim is a view your teams can explain, challenge and use.

Our focus areas

Planning strategy & tool architecture

We assess how planning processes, responsibilities and applications work together. We compare existing tools with business requirements and define priorities, a target landscape and a practical transition path.

Integrated planning & inventory governance

We connect supply chain, sales and finance through consistent planning assumptions and clear decision roles. This includes inventory policies, target allocation, review processes and rules for documenting adjustments and following up on decisions.

Cross-functional planning · Targets · Responsibilities

Logistics capacity & forecast validation

We translate planned quantities into the physical capacity needed for transport and storage. We define conversion rules, assess data coverage and validate forecasts against historical or operational reference data. Documented gaps provide a basis for deciding what to improve.

Capacity forecasts · Conversion logic · Data validation

Inventory models, projections & scenarios

We model the effects of demand, safety stocks, lead times and lot sizes on inventory. Projections and scenarios connect logistical quantities with financial values. Defined treatments of goods in transit, subcontracting and triangulation keep the model aligned with the actual supply chain.

What an engagement can deliver

Deliverables depend on the agreed scope and your starting point. They may include:

  • Documented planning rules, requirements and decision responsibilities
  • Inventory models, scenarios or validated capacity forecasts within the agreed scope
  • A coherent planning-tool architecture and a defined path into daily use

How we work together

  1. Understand and agree on the scope

We clarify the business question, requirements and responsibilities with your teams.

  2. Design and develop

We compare options, specify the solution and implement it ourselves or support your implementation teams.

  3. Validate and enable

We support acceptance, rollout, documentation and training within the agreed scope, with clear ownership for continued use.

Questions about working with us

What is the focus of your supply chain consulting?

Our strongest focus is planning and inventory: explaining stock drivers, assessing future quantities and values, setting targets and connecting planning logic with data and IT. Logistics capacity and cross-functional decision processes complement this work.

Do we need a new planning system?

That depends on your current processes, data and system capabilities. We first clarify requirements and the gaps to address. Improving an existing setup and introducing new technology are options to assess against the same business goals.

Experience behind the advice

For a pharmaceutical initiative, PROVADIT designed and built a forward-looking inventory model using planning parameters, with scenarios and a data interface into the steering cockpit. A later, separately scoped transformation connects inventory rules, order reviews and the planning-tool landscape. Together, these examples show how modeling assumptions and organizing decisions complement one another.
